The Winchester Model 1897 is a 12-Gauge pump action shotgun, made and manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, from 1897-1957.
History[]
The Winchester Model 1897 or Trench Gun was designed by John Moses Browning and was manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms. The weapon evolved from the Winchester Model 1893 and was highly used by American soldiers during the The Phillippine-American War, World Wars 1 and 2, Korean War and even Vietnam. It was popular with many hunters, soldiers and even police officers.
Present Day[]
The Trench Gun has been retired from service for the last 56 years, however Alpha Wolf wields this shotgun along with his Winchester Model 1887 and Ithaca Model 37 shotguns for close quarters combat.
