The MP18 was a submachine gun manufactured in Germany during World War 1, as the world's first submachine gun to ever be designed. The designer of the MP18 was none other than Hugo Schmeisser.
History[]
he German Militaries of both World Wars 1 and 2 used the MP18 against the Allied Forces and after the 1st World War, they banned further research of light fully automatic firearms, however the Germans didn't stop and the weapon was used in the Third Reich of Germany, mainly by the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS.
Present Day[]
The MP18 is used by present day military, however not every military has adopted this Submachine Gun.
