  • The Kalashnikov AK-12 (Formerly AK-200) is a Russian adaptive combat weapon and derivative of the popular AK-47 assault rifle. It is in fact the last assault rifle to ever be designed and developed by the late Mikhail Kalashnikov who died on December 23, 2013 at 94 years of age.

    HistoryEdit

The AK-12 was designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov and Vladimir Zlobin; then later manufactured by the Izhmash company in Izhevsk. Despite being tested in 2012; the Russian army decided not to adopt the AK-12 due to two reasons; that they had a whole surplus of Soviet AK-74 rifles at their disposal and that the AK-12 had several defects that weren't specifically identified.

    Black Beret UsageEdit

The Russian government did indeed traid these weapons with the United States and many of these rifles were given to the Black Beret Corps. Alpha Wolf got his hands on one of these weapons and despite it being flawed; he enjoyed it's usage. He in fact modified his to improve the weapon's accuracy and resiliants to the elements.
